...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN BUTTE...
NORTHWESTERN MEADE AND SOUTHWESTERN PERKINS COUNTIES THROUGH 300 PM
MDT...

At 208 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Dears Ears Butte, or 40 miles northeast of Belle Fourche, moving east
at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern
Butte, northwestern Meade and southwestern Perkins Counties, west of
Mud Butte.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
