There is still a possibility that some of these storms may be strong to severe, especially west of the Mississippi River. The main threats from any strong to severe thunderstorm would be heavy rain, large hail to the size of quarters and damaging winds to 60 MPH. There is a some chance for flash flooding from these storms overnight, especially in areas that have already received heavy rainfall earlier today which would be along and north of Highway 30. Area rivers are experiencing flooding. Please see the latest Flood Statements and Flood Warnings for details. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY Several chances for showers and storms will be seen next week, with heavy rain possible.
