...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT PORTAGE...SOUTHEASTERN
MARATHON...WAUSHARA...WESTERN WAUPACA AND WESTERN SHAWANO COUNTIES
THROUGH 1230 PM CDT...

At 1144 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from near Weston to Bevent to
near Amherst to near Plainfield to 7 miles north of Westfield.
Movement was east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph, pea size hail and torrential
         rainfall.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Wautoma and Amherst around 1150 AM CDT.
  Hartman Creek State Park and Chain O` Lakes-King around 1155 AM
  CDT.
  Waupaca and Wittenberg around 1200 PM CDT.
  Napowan Scout Camp around 1205 PM CDT.
  Redgranite around 1215 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by these storms include Schmidt Corner,
Coddington, Tigerton, Ellis, Whitcomb, Nelsonville, King, Iola,
Custer, and Saxeville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
