...THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN WILL IMPACT
MONROE...SOUTHEASTERN ALLEN... CUMBERLAND...SOUTHEASTERN BARREN AND
SOUTHERN METCALFE COUNTIES THROUGH 630 AM CDT...

At 542 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking thunderstorms with very
heavy rain along a line extending from 8 miles southeast of Edmonton
to 9 miles southeast of Scottsville. Movement was east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. Very heavy rain.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Tompkinsville, Burkesville, Leslie, Gamaliel, Fountain Run, Littrell,
Gum Tree, Blythe, Harlan Crossroads, and Ellington.

These storms are moving into an area that received heavy rain
earlier this morning. Ponding of water and some temporary minor
flooding in poor drainage areas may arise as these new storms move
through.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, seek shelter inside a building.

Very heavy rainfall is occurring with these storms and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways. Reduce speed when traveling on wet pavement.
