This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Maryland portion of the
Chesapeake Bay, Tidal Potomac River, and I-95 corridor through
central Maryland, northern Virginia, and District of Columbia.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Thunderstorms are likely on Sunday afternoon into the evening.
Some of these may become severe, with the primary threat being
damaging wind gusts.

The combination of heat and humidity on Sunday will lead to heat
index values approaching 105 degrees.

Spotter activation may be needed on Sunday.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of eastern West
Virginia, northern and central Virginia, and central and western
Maryland.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Scattered severe thunderstorms are possible late Saturday
afternoon and evening, especially along and west of the Blue Ridge
and Catoctin Mountains. The primary threat will be for damaging
wind gusts, but a tornado or two cannot be ruled out as well.

Thunderstorms are possible on Sunday afternoon into the evening,
especially near and east of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Some of
these may become severe, with the primary threat being damaging
wind gusts.

The combination of heat and humidity on Sunday may lead to heat
index values of 100 to 105 degrees, especially east of the Blue
Ridge Mountains.
