Recent observations from the lower Chesapeake Bay and adjacent tributaries have shown southerly gusts to around 18 knots. These should be brief and somewhat sporadic in nature. Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller vessels, should exercise extra caution if navigating the waters during this time. $$ BRO
