...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT PASSAIC...NORTHWESTERN BERGEN...
ORANGE AND ROCKLAND COUNTIES THROUGH 600 PM EDT...

At 454 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from near Haven to near Five
Points. Movement was east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Newburgh, Middletown, West Milford, Ringwood, Pompton Lakes, Port
Jervis, Monroe, Walden, West Point, Warwick, Goshen, Sloatsburg,
Howells, New Windsor, and Bloomingdale.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for
northeastern New Jersey...and southeastern New York.
