...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 445 PM MDT
FOR NORTHWESTERN BACA...EAST CENTRAL LAS ANIMAS AND SOUTHERN BENT
COUNTIES...

At 427 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 21 miles southeast
of Higbee, or 30 miles northwest of Springfield, moving northeast at
20 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
northwestern Baca, east central Las Animas and southern Bent
Counties.
