Another unusually hot day is expected today, with highs in the lower to mid 90s and heat index values in the upper 90s. This heat and humidity may cause heat illnesses in individuals who are especially vulnerable to the heat, including those without air conditioning and those who are not adequately hydrated. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday. An extended period of dangerously hot weather will continue through much of the upcoming week. High temperatures are expected to reach the lower to mid 90s each day, with heat index values as high as the upper 90s to around 100. These unusually hot conditions for this time of year will increase the risk of heat related illnesses, especially for those without access to air conditioning.
