The KBDI at Guanica was at 509 yesterday and less than 370 elsewhere. East winds with sea breeze variations are expected to range between 12-16 mph with higher gusts along the southern coast of Puerto Rico. Although drier air is still present over the area, moisture content will gradually increase under a southeasterly component in the wind today, and relative humidities should not reach critical fire weather thresholds. Therefore, a low fire weather risk continues across the islands today.
