...NWS Meteorologists Currently Surveying Storm Damage Near
Berwick in Columbia County Pennsylvania...

The National Weather Service office in State College PA is
currently conducting a storm survey for the area near Berwick in
Columbia County Pennsylvania. The survey is in relation to the
severe thunderstorms that moved through the area on June 26,
2024. Preliminary survey results indicate that a downburst
produced straight line wind damage with maximum wind gusts of 90
to 100mph.

A final assessment with more details from the survey are expected
to be completed and transmitted via a Public Information
Statement by 5PM.

website at http://www.weather.gov/ctp.
