.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Scattered afternoon and evening thunderstorms will be possible
Sunday and Monday, and again Wednesday and Thursday. A few of these
storms could become strong to severe with damaging wind gusts being
the main hazard.

Heat indices are expected to be around or just above 100 degrees
Saturday afternoon and possibly again Sunday afternoon in some
locations. The greatest concern for excessive heat will be within the
larger urban areas such as Lynchburg, Danville, and Reidsville.

Scattered afternoon and evening thunderstorms will be possible
Sunday and Monday, and again Wednesday and Thursday. A few of these
storms could become strong to severe with damaging wind gusts being
the main hazard.

There is a low probability for widespread hazardous weather.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Scattered afternoon and evening thunderstorms will be possible
Sunday and Monday, and again Wednesday and Thursday. A few of the
storms on Sunday have a marginal risk of becoming strong to severe
with damaging wind gusts being the main hazard. The risk for excessive
rainfall is also marginal in these areas.
