...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT MDT TONIGHT
FOR SOUTHEASTERN CURRY COUNTY...

At 1111 PM MDT, At 942 PM MDT, the public reported street flooding 1
mile south of Clovis. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen.
Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 0.5 inches are possible in
the warned area.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

SOURCE...Public reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
         highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
         drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Clovis.

This includes Highway 60 between Mile Markers 386 and 391.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
