...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN MCKINLEY AND
SOUTHWESTERN SAN JUAN COUNTIES THROUGH 245 AM MDT...

At 204 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Narbona Pass to near Burnside. Movement was
east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Nakaibito, Navajo, Sheep Springs, Brimhall Nizhoni, Narbona Pass,
Crystal, Tohatchi, Red Lake Chapter House, Tse Bonito, and Fort
Defiance.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
