.DISCUSSION...
Dry and hot conditions will peak this afternoon as the max temperature nears
80 degrees and RH drops to mid 20s. Temperatures will steadily drop through
the week and RH will slowly rise. High pressure over the Interior will keep
scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms limited to higher terrain today.
However, chances for showers and isolated thunderstorms increase on Monday
with a much greater chance for thunderstorms near the fire Tuesday afternoon
as the ridge breaks down. Winds will be remain light except when storms produce
stronger gusts.
