Fire Weather Planning Forecast For CEN/ERN VA...NE NC...MD ERN SHORE
National Weather Service WAKEFIELD VA
259 PM EDT Sun Jun 23 2024

.DISCUSSION...
High pressure remains well offshore early this week will remain
in control of the weather across the region. Hot and dry
conditions also remain in place, with high temperatures in the mid
to upper 90s and Min RH values of 35-45%. There is a chance for
some isolated showers and storms this evening and again on Monday
across southeast VA and northeast NC. Unfortunately, rain amounts
will be unimpressive outside of the heaviest storms, generally
between 0.10" and 0.30", locally higher in coastal NE NC.
