...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN SOMERSET...
SOUTHWESTERN WICOMICO AND CENTRAL DORCHESTER COUNTIES THROUGH 1045 PM
EDT...

At 959 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Lexington Park to 6 miles northwest of
Deal Island. Movement was northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph, heavy rain, and frequent
         lightning.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Reduced visibility and minor flooding
         possible. Frequent cloud to ground lightning strikes.

These storms will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern
Somerset, southwestern Wicomico and central Dorchester Counties,
including the following locations... Green Hill, Catchpenny,
Wetipquin, Waterview, Trinity, Andrews, Royal Oak, Crocheron, Dames
Quarter, and Whitehaven.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
