...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL SCHOHARIE AND
WESTERN MONTGOMERY COUNTIES THROUGH 730 PM EDT...

At 701 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Canajoharie, moving southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Canajoharie, Fort Plain, Sharon Springs, Ames, Sharon, Palatine
Bridge, Nelliston, Argusville, Browns Hollow, Marshville, Cook
Corners, Buel, Yosts, Staleyville, Sprakers, Flat Creek, Christmans
Corners, Stone Arabia, Mapletown, and McKinley.

This includes Interstate 90 near exit 29.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
