...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN ARMSTRONG AND
SOUTHEASTERN RANDALL COUNTIES THROUGH 915 PM CDT...

At 843 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles south of Palo Duro Canyon, or 15 miles southeast of Canyon,
moving south at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Wayside and Palo Duro Canyon.

This includes Interstate 27 between mile markers 91 and 93.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
