...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EASTERN OLDHAM...NORTHEASTERN
DEAF SMITH AND SOUTHWESTERN POTTER COUNTIES THROUGH 1115 PM CDT...

At 1047 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Vega, moving northeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Vega, Boys Ranch, Wildorado, and Valley De Oro.

This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 28 and 54.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for
the Panhandle of Texas.
