.DISCUSSION...Showers and a few embedded thunderstorms will
continue to push eastward across the area this morning, with new
rainfall amounts generally under 1-1.5 inches. Showers and storms
look to push east of the area by mid morning. However, additional
showers and thunderstorms are forecast to develop this afternoon
and evening, with the potential for some storms to become strong.
Otherwise, temperatures today are forecast in the 70s with winds
shifting more southwest and then northwest by tonight. Winds
remain generally less than 10 mph, but strong wind gusts will be
possible with any storms that develop this evening.

                    thunderstorms in the morning, then showers and
                    thunderstorms likely in the afternoon.
