...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT MOWER AND DODGE COUNTIES THROUGH
630 AM CDT...

At 544 AM CDT, automated weather observations reported strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from near Medford to Glenville.
Movement was east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Automated weather observations.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Claremont around 555 AM CDT.
  Austin around 600 AM CDT.
  West Concord around 605 AM CDT.
  Dodge Center around 610 AM CDT.
  Hayfield and Brownsdale around 615 AM CDT.
  Mantorville, Kasson, and Rose Creek around 620 AM CDT.

Other locations impacted by these storms include County Roads 20 And
5, Eden, Highway 57 And 570th Street, County Roads 6 And 15,
Brookside Campground, County Roads 5 And 6, Mayville, Highway 56 And
County 6, Graves Landing Field, and Waltham.

This includes Interstate 90 in Minnesota between mile markers 175 and
196.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 AM CDT for
north central Iowa...and southeastern Minnesota.
