Showers and a few thunderstorms can be found across the northern
portions of the northern PLains as a cold front continues
eastward this morning. Low temperatures tonight will range from
the lower 40s in northeast Montana, to the lower 60s in northwest
Iowa.

Cooler temperatures are in store for this weekend behind the
aforementioned cold front. Windy conditions are expected behind
the cold front this afternoon, especially in South Dakota, but
winds should diminish this evening. Today`s highs will range from
the 60s in much of North Dakota, to the lower to mid 80s in
northeast Nebraska.

For Sunday, morning lows could drop into the 30s over northeast
Montana and western North Dakota, with some frost possible.
Daytime highs Sunday will be in the 60s to low 70s region wide.
