A cold front will bring cooler temperatures and somewhat higher humidity levels today which will reduce the fire threat. Enough moisture will be around for a slight chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms over the higher terrain. For tonight there will be a chance of rain showers manly across the plains. LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Wednesday through Saturday...Wednesday will be another cooler than normal day with scattered showers and thunderstorms for most areas. Temperature are expected to warm up to above normal readings by Friday and Saturday with upper ridging moving into Colorado. Minimum relative humidity values will be pretty high Wednesday and Thursday, but will begin to decrease Friday and by Saturday some areas will drop to around 20 percent.
