.DISCUSSION...Tonight and Tuesday...
Scattered showers and storms will linger through early and
then gradually end. Most of the activity will produce
limited wetting rain. On Tuesday, temperatures will remain
well above normal with only isolated to widely scattered
afternoon showers and storms over the higher terrain.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Tuesday night through Saturday...Slight relief
from the heat is expected Wednesday and Thursday as moisture
increases. This will result in greater coverage of showers and
thunderstorms. Some of the storms will produce heavy rainfall.
Cooling trend continues into Friday and Saturday with highs over
northeast Colorado bottoming out in the mid 80s Saturday.
