Above normal moisture and cooler temperatures expected today.
Relative humidity values drop into the 30 percent range in the
afternoon at lowest. Light, variable winds become north/northeast
in the afternoon at 7-12 mph. Scattered showers and thunderstorms
develop mainly after 12 PM with a few rounds of scattered activity
likely continuing through late afternoon/early evening. Any
passing or nearby storms may contain strong variable gusts up to
60 mph and lightning. Small hail is also possible in any stronger
storms. Transport winds go from west to northwest in the
afternoon.
Sunday will remain cool with above normal moisture remaining the
region. Scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms.
