...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN ORANGE...
SOUTHEASTERN ADDISON...NORTHEASTERN RUTLAND...NORTHWESTERN WINDSOR
AND SOUTHERN WASHINGTON COUNTIES THROUGH 600 PM EDT...

At 509 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Goshen, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Middlebury, Braintree Hill, Hancock, Ripton, Bethel, Randolph,
Rochester, Leicester, Pittsfield, Braintree, Granville, Goshen,
Salisbury, Brandon, Brookfield, Royalton, Stockbridge, Chittenden,
Barnard, and Tunbridge.

This includes Interstate 89 between mile markers 22 and 36.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until
this storm passes.
