...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN CATTARAUGUS AND
SOUTHWESTERN ALLEGANY COUNTIES THROUGH 1100 PM EDT...

At 1018 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms over Olean, moving northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Olean, Allegany, Cuba, St. Bonaventure, Weston Mills, Hinsdale,
Friendship, Portville, Belmont, Richburg, Rock City Park, Haskell
Flats, West Clarksville, and Black Creek.

This includes Interstate 86 between exits 24 and 30.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
