Upper trough over the area will move out of the region late tonight. Thunderstorms will continue to increase across the area through this evening. These thunderstorms may be severe with large hail, strong wind gusts, heavy rainfall and the small possibility of a tornado. Thunderstorms will decrease west to east late tonight. Upper ridging will then build over the districts for the weekend, bring a hot day on Sunday with highs in the 90s to around 100 degrees. Humidities in the 30s on Saturday will be mainly in the teens and 20s on Sunday. Weak ridging will persist into the early workweek with highs in the 80s and 90s. Humidities will be in the 20s.
