...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN FALLON AND NORTHERN
CUSTER COUNTIES THROUGH 1230 AM MDT...
At 1156 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 18 miles east of Hillside to 9 miles northeast
of Miles City to 24 miles north of Volborg. Movement was northeast at
50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Locate, Twelve Mile Dam, Strawberry Hill Recreation Area, and
Matthews Recreation Area.
