.DISCUSSION...
A cold front will gradually cross the area this afternoon into
the evening from north to south bringing an end to the heat and
humidity. Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms are
expected especially across the Central Highlands to the Downeast
coast. Storms will have the potential to produce excessive cloud
to ground lightning and strong gusty winds. Winds will be shifting
NW as the front passes this afternoon. Tonight, we will begin to
dry out across the area with near to slightly above normal
temperatures tomorrow. Minimum RHs will fall into the 30-38% range
tomorrow with light N-NW winds. There is a chance of showers on
Saturday with showers likely and perhaps some thunderstorms on
Sunday into Monday.
