Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southeast Wyoming/Western Nebraska
National Weather Service CHEYENNE WY
151 AM MDT Mon Jun 17 2024

HIGH WIND WATCH IN EFFECT FROM LATE TONIGHT THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING

.DISCUSSION...

Fire weather concerns for the Laramie Range and areas westward
continue today as an incoming cold front will lead to strong winds
with gusts 40 to 45 MPH. Minimum RHs will also be critical, falling
below 15 percent. Fire weather concerns shift a bit further eastward
on Tuesday as dry and windy conditions spread into much of the
Interstate 25 corridor. Fire weather concerns weaken on Wednesday
with cooler temperatures and higher humidities.
