...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN ASHLAND AND SAWYER
COUNTIES THROUGH 1145 PM CDT...

At 1058 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Cable to near Chief Lake on Chippewa
Flowage to 6 miles east of Birchwood. Movement was east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

These storms will remain over mainly rural areas of southwestern
Ashland and Sawyer Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
