  West Fork Des Moines River at Humboldt affecting Humboldt County.

  East Fork Des Moines River near Algona affecting Kossuth and
  Humboldt Counties.

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Iowa...

  West Fork Des Moines River at Estherville affecting Emmet County.

.The river forecasts are conditional and dependent on the forecast
rainfall across the river basins through Sunday morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

River forecasts include observed precipitation plus forecast
precipitation through Sunday morning.

NOTICE...

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...The West Fork Des Moines River at Emmetsburg, or from near
  Graettinger to Cylinder Creek near West Bend.

* WHEN...From this evening until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, Water threatens Iowa 4 in areas near the
  river overpass as well as the road to the rendering plant. The
  road to the sanitary landfill area is closed.
  At 14.0 feet, Sandbagging operations occur for businesses along US
  18 on the west side of town in and near the flood plain.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:15 PM CDT Friday the stage was 10.8 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late this evening and continue rising to a crest of 14.1 feet
    Monday evening.
  - Flood stage is 11.0 feet.

  record.

* WHERE...The West Fork Des Moines River at Humboldt, or from Joe
  Reasoner Dam to the East Fork Des Moines River.

* WHEN...From Saturday morning until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, Water impacts some homes along Country
  Club Dr.
  At 14.5 feet, Water affects houses along W River Dr.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:15 PM CDT Friday the stage was 9.2 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    tomorrow morning and continue rising to a crest of 16.0 feet
    Wednesday morning.
  - Flood stage is 10.0 feet.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...The East Fork Des Moines River near Algona, or from
  Buffalo Creek near Burt to Lotts Creek near Livermore.

* WHEN...From Saturday afternoon until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Water threatens US 169 south of Algona and
  affects some rural roads.
  At 22.0 feet, Water affects the shopping center parking lot and
  approaches the buildings. Water also affects US 169 near and north
  of Saint Joseph. Water may also threaten many bridges over the Des
  Moines River in the area with washouts. Many roads across Kossuth
  County may be closed.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:15 PM CDT Friday the stage was 15.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    early tomorrow afternoon and continue rising to a crest of
    21.2 feet early Tuesday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, Water affects lowland areas near the river
  and threatens residences along the river in Fort Dodge.
  At 17.0 feet, Water reaches the bottom of the railroad trestle
  approach.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 7.9 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late tomorrow evening and continue rising to a crest of 18.0
    feet Wednesday evening.
  - Flood stage is 10.5 feet.

  inundated.
  At 15.0 feet, Several evacuations and road closures may occur.

  - At 8:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 12.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 16.0
    feet early Monday morning.
  - Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
