...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Iowa...

  Cedar River at Cedar Falls affecting Black Hawk County.

  Cedar River at Janesville affecting Butler, Bremer and Black Hawk
  Counties.

  Cedar River at Waterloo affecting Black Hawk County.

  Winnebago River at Mason City affecting Cerro Gordo, Worth and
  Floyd Counties.

  Shell Rock River at Shell Rock affecting Butler, Bremer and Black
  Hawk Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

For the latest river and stream observations and forecasts refer to
weather.gov/desmoines/water.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

River forecasts include observed precipitation plus forecast
precipitation through 7pm Sunday.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...The Winnebago River at Mason City, or from Beaver Creek
  near Fertile to the Shell Rock River near Rockford.

* WHEN...Until early Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Widespread flooding occurs along the
  river. Some backwater effects are possible along Willow Creek
  between downtown Mason City and the confluence with the Winnebago
  river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:30 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 10.9 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 12.1
    feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood
    stage Tuesday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 10.0 feet.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...The Shell Rock River at Shell Rock, or from Flood Creek
  near Clarksville to the Cedar River.

* WHEN...From Sunday morning to early Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Part of S Lake St is closed.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:45 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 10.9 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    tomorrow morning to a crest of 13.2 feet Monday morning. It
    will then fall below flood stage early Wednesday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.

* WHAT...Major flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...The Cedar River at Cedar Falls, or from the West Fork
  Cedar River to the Cedar Falls-Waterloo city limits.

* WHEN...From Sunday evening to Friday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 90.0 feet, Water affects the north half of Tourist
  Park.
  At 93.8 feet, Water affects Cedar City...the road at 216 E Lake
  St...and the north edge of the road at 2125 Lone Tree Rd.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:45 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 84.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late tomorrow evening to a crest of 94.0 feet Tuesday
    morning. It will then fall below flood stage Thursday
    evening.
  - Flood stage is 89.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    93.9 feet on 05/31/2013.

  to the West Fork Cedar River.

* WHEN...From late Sunday night to late Tuesday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Water threatens areas of Janesville south
  of 8th St.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:45 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 5.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    early Monday morning to a crest of 15.0 feet Monday evening.
    It will then fall below flood stage late Tuesday morning.
  - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, The Riverview Recreation Area is closed.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:00 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 8.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    early Monday afternoon to a crest of 16.2 feet early Tuesday
    afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage Wednesday
    evening.
  - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
