This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

Showers and thunderstorms will be possible today, with mainly
isolated coverage before 4 PM. Late this afternoon and this
evening, a cold front will approach the area, with more widespread
chances for showers and thunderstorms. The Storm Prediction Center
is forecasting a level 1 our of 5, marginal risk for severe storms
for northeast Iowa, where the main threat will be damaging winds
and hail up to quarter size between 4 PM and Midnight.

Overnight, widespread rain and thunderstorms will be found over
the entire area. Severe storms are not expected overnight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

Rain and a few embedded thunderstorms are possible again Sunday.
Severe storms are not expected.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is possible late this afternoon and evening,
mainly in Iowa.
