...THE TORNADO WARNING FOR NORTHEASTERN MUSCATINE COUNTY IS
CANCELLED...

The tornadic thunderstorm which prompted the warning has moved out
of the warned area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.
Severe wind gusts remain possible through 830 PM CDT.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for
northwestern Illinois...and east central Iowa.

...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 830 PM CDT FOR CENTRAL
ROCK ISLAND AND SOUTH CENTRAL SCOTT COUNTIES...

At 807 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds, or over
far western Davenport, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is
         likely.

This dangerous storm will be near...
  Davenport, Moline, Rock Island, Milan, Rock Island Arsenal, Credit
  Island, Blackhawk State Park, and Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds
  around 810 PM CDT.

This includes Interstate 280 between mile markers 2 and 11, and near
mile marker 16.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
