...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 845 PM CDT
FOR NORTHEASTERN CHARITON...NORTHERN RANDOLPH...SOUTHEASTERN LINN AND
SOUTHERN MACON COUNTIES...

At 816 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Maud to 6 miles north of Cairo to near Marceline,
moving southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Two inch hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
         considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
         mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Macon, Brookfield, Marceline, Bucklin, Cairo, Jacksonville, Wien,
Saint Catherine, Excello, and Prairie Hill.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
