.DISCUSSION...
No hazardous fire weather conditions are expected at this time.
Another summer afternoon with cumulus building in and a few storms
taking off across portions of eastern GA where better moisture
resides around the edges of what is left of the tropical wave. Winds
are currently from the west at 5-10 mph with a few higher gusts. RHs
have dropped into the 30s and even a few upper 20s. Rain chances
will increase later this evening into the overnight across north GA
as a front moves into the area.
Tomorrow, front should push through area, bringing some afternoon
rain and Tstorm chances to central GA. Min RHs will be in the 30s
with a few places in the upper 20s. Winds will be from the NW, 7-13
mph with a few higher gusts. Mixing heights will 6-8 kft in most
locations, though some cloud cover in central GA may limit these
there. Transport winds from the NW in the north to W in central GA
will be a bit stronger, 12-22 mph, allowing for better ventilation
and dispersion.
