  Skunk Creek at Sioux Falls affecting Minnehaha County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...Skunk Creek at Sioux Falls.

* WHEN...Until early Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, The bridge on W 12th St is overtopped.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 11:30 PM CDT Friday the stage was 15.5 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 11:30 PM CDT Friday was 15.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 16.3
    feet this morning. It will then fall below flood stage early
    Monday morning.
  - Flood stage is 11.5 feet.
