Dakota...Iowa...

  Big Sioux River at Sioux City affecting Union and Woodbury
  Counties.

  Little Sioux River near Correctionville affecting Cherokee,
  Woodbury and Ida Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHAT...Major flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Little Sioux River near Correctionville.

* WHEN...From early this morning until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 26.0 feet, the bridge on County Road L36 northwest of
  Correctionville is overtopped.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 4:00 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 18.9 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    early this morning and continue rising to a crest of 27.8
    feet Tuesday evening.
  - Flood stage is 19.0 feet.
