...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 730 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of Bosque, Erath, Hood and Somervell counties.

* WHEN...Until 730 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Water over roadways. Ponding of water on roadways is occurring or
  is imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This
    will likely cause urban and small stream flooding. Low lying
    and/or poor drainage areas will experience minor flooding in
    the advisory area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Stephenville, Granbury, Pecan Plantation, Glen Rose, Iredell,
    Dinosaur Valley State Park, Squaw Creek Reservoir, Bluff
    Dale, Lake Whitney, DeCordova, Walnut Springs, Tolar, Morgan,
    Mambrino, Paluxy, Eulogy, Chalk Mountain, Johnsville, Duffau
    and Rainbow.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is
harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
