This is the regional weather summary for the eastern two-thirds
of Montana, southern Saskatchewan, and western North Dakota.

An upper level low pressure system will move east along the
Canadian Border today with showers and thunderstorms over most of
the region today. Southern Montana will remain dry with partly
cloudy skies. Gusty west winds this morning will become northwest
this afternoon and north this evening before diminishing.

Highs today will be in the 60s in most areas and 70 to 75 over
southern Montana and southwest North Dakota.

Showers and thunderstorms will continue this evening over
northeast Montana, southern Saskatchewan and western North Dakota
before diminishing by midnight. Otherwise, skies will be partly to
mostly cloudy with lows in the 40s.

High pressure will be over the area on Saturday with partly to
mostly cloudy skies. Highs will be in the 60s north and 70s south.
