...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN PHILLIPS AND HARLAN
COUNTIES THROUGH 1045 PM CDT...

At 1016 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 7 miles southeast of Beaver City to 8 miles
south of Stamford to Long Island to near Prairie View. Movement was
northeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Stamford, Long Island, and Woodruff around 1020 PM CDT.
  Orleans around 1025 PM CDT.
  Alma around 1030 PM CDT.
  Huntley around 1035 PM CDT.

Other locations in the path of these storms include Republican City.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 200 AM CDT for
north central Kansas...and south central Nebraska.
