...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN PHILLIPS...SOUTHERN
GOSPER...FURNAS AND SOUTHWESTERN HARLAN COUNTIES THROUGH 1030 PM
CDT...

At 1003 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Arapahoe to Hollinger to 6 miles southwest
of Stamford. Movement was north at 55 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Arapahoe, Oxford, Stamford, Edison, and Hollinger around 1010 PM
  CDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 200 AM CDT for
north central Kansas...and south central Nebraska.
