916 NZUS99 KGJT 230935 SYNGJT For eastern Utah and western Colorado, here is the latest weather synopsis Expect warmer temperatures across the region today, with isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms over the mountains with the San Juan Mountains favored. Expect highs to climb to around 5 degrees above normal for most locations. Afternoon/evening storms are expected each day through the first half of the week becoming more numerous toward the end of the week. Meanwhile, highs will continue to climb with highs running from 5 to 10 degrees above normal through Wednesday. Readings in the low 100`s return Wednesday for the Grand Valley and the lower elevations of southeast Utah. However, increased clouds and showers at the end of the week should cool it down closer to normal across the region.
