This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska...
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

A Heat Advisory is in effect for Graham and Norton counties in
Kansas for Tuesday afternoon. Heat indices up to 106 are expected in
the advisory area. Elsewhere, heat indices will reach into the low
100s.

Isolated to widely scattered storms looks to develop along and east
of a McCook to Leoti line this afternoon. The primary hazard looks to
be sudden strong to damaging winds as storms collapse.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY...

Wednesday and Thursday will again see storms moving into the area
from eastern Colorado. Large hail will be the primary threat
initially before turning into a damaging wind threat. Torrential
rainfall will also accompany the storms.

Spotter activation may be needed Tuesday afternoon.
