Regional Weather Summary for the High Plains

Widely scattered showers and thunderstorms developed in eastern
Colorado Saturday afternoon and moved across areas south of
Interstate 70 into late Saturday night. The storms produced
locally gusty winds in excess of 50 mph. Overnight temperatures
were in the 60s to lower 70s across the region with southwest
winds of 10 to 15 mph.

OUTLOOK... today will be mostly sunny and hot with a slight chance
for afternoon and evening thunderstorms. Highs will be in the
upper 90s to lower 100s and lows tonight in the 60s and 70s.
Monday will be mostly sunny and hot once again with a slight
chance for afternoon and evening thunderstorms. Highs will be in
the upper 90s to lower 100s. It will also be windy Monday
afternoon and evening with areas of blowing dust possible. Lows
Monday night will be in the 60s and 70s. Tuesday will be slightly
cooler with highs ranging from the upper 70s to lower 90s either
side of a cold front. Showers and thunderstorms become likely by
Tuesday night with lows in the 50s.
