Several rounds of showers and thunderstorms moved across the
region this morning, bringing brief periods of heavy rain.
Temperatures ranged from the lower 60s to lower 70s.

Most of this afternoon appears to be dry with a few peeks of sun
at times. High temperatures should climb into the upper 70s to
middle 80s.

For tonight, there is a chance of thunderstorms which some of
them could become severe with damaging winds and large hail. Under
mostly cloudy skies, lows should only drop into the middle 60s to
lower 70s. The chances of thunderstorms will continue at times
during upcoming workweek. Very warm or hot conditions are expected
on Monday and Tuesday, with high temperatures around 90s with
afternoon heat index values in the lower to middle 90s.
