A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas...
  Nearshore and Open Waters from Grand Haven to Manistee MI...

At 1015 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms capable of
producing winds to around 30 knots, sudden shifts in wind direction,
and occasional lightning strikes. These thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from 20 nm west of Big Sable Point Light to
35 nm west of Whitehall, and were moving east at 20 knots.

Locations impacted include...
Big Sable Point Light, Ludington Light, Pentwater Light, Little
Sable Point Light, White Lake Pier Heads, and Muskegon Light.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor. A
small craft advisory also remains in effect through this evening.
